We compare tour listings, official visitor information and recent traveller feedback. We do not operate or personally conduct these sessions, employ no photographers and hold no bookings. Why this site exists
Search for a photographer in Venice and the answers run from a $952 dedicated wedding photographer down to a $24-per-person session at the Rialto — the same city, the same bridges, wildly different framing. The platform listings are just harder to compare: one includes a 30-minute private gondola ride, another covers a group of up to twenty at one flat price, a third includes neither but takes bookings from 5:00am when San Marco is empty.
Lining those differences up next to the price is the entire job of this site.
Where the facts come from
Package prices, session lengths, ratings, review counts and inclusions are read off each operator's own listing on the date shown on the page, in US dollars. Tour listing checked: August 2026. Last price check: August 2026.
Location rules — including the €5 access fee charged to day visitors on certain dates — are checked against official tourism information for Venice and recent first-hand visitor reports, and dated where they appear. Traveller feedback reviewed: more than 2,600 verified reviews across the listed packages.
What we do not do
We do not take photographs, sell sessions, process payments, or handle rescheduling and refunds — the booking platform and the operator named on your confirmation do all of that. We have never claimed to have walked a session ourselves; where the site describes how a shoot unfolds, that description is assembled from the operator's listing and dated traveller reviews.
How the site pays for itself
Booking links on this site are affiliate links. If you book through one, the platform pays this site a commission at no extra cost to you. The commission is identical across the packages we list, so it gives us no reason to rank one photographer above another — the ordering and the verdicts come from the listings' own numbers.
